This policy covers the website, frontrangepost.com. Services at the counter, such as shipping, mailbox rentals and notary work, come with their own paperwork, and that paperwork governs those services.
Who we are
Front Range Post is a pack-and-ship counter in Greenwood Village, Colorado, operated by Main Gore LLC. We built this site to answer the everyday questions: whether we are open, when the carriers pick up, and how to reach us. We keep the information we collect to the minimum that takes.
What you send us
The only personal information we collect is what you type into one of the three forms on this site:
- Contact form: your name, a phone number or email address, and your message.
- Freight quote: the same details plus the size, weight and destination of the item, and up to a few photos of it if you choose to attach them.
- Mailbox waitlist: your name, how to reach you, and the box size you want.
Each form is delivered to our inbox as an email. We use Resend, an email delivery service, to send it. If you give us an email address, our reply goes to that address. The form also notes which page you were on, so we know what you were looking at.
Tracking numbers
When you enter a tracking number, the site works out which carrier it belongs to and opens that carrier’s tracking page in your browser. The number is not sent to us and is not stored on our servers. To save you retyping, your browser keeps your last three numbers on your own device. The Clear button under the tracking box removes them, and they never leave your device.
What the site collects on its own
Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs are used to run and secure the site. We also use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use. It does not use cookies and does not store anything that identifies you. We do not use advertising trackers, and the site does not set cookies to follow you around.
Services from other companies
A few parts of the site are provided by other companies, and their privacy policies apply when you use them:
- Google Maps provides the map on the Find Us page and may set its own cookies. The directions buttons open Google Maps or Apple Maps.
- USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL tracking pages open when you track a package.
- U-Haul handles truck and trailer reservations on its own website.
How we use what you send
We use your information to reply to you, prepare your quote, hold your place on the waitlist, and keep a record of the request. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only with the services that run the site, such as hosting and email delivery, with a carrier when that is needed to ship something for you, and when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Messages stay in our email inbox for as long as we need them to handle your request and keep normal business records. If you would like something deleted sooner, ask and we will take care of it.
Your choices
- Ask us to show you, correct, or delete anything you have sent through the site.
- Use the Clear button under the tracking box to remove saved tracking numbers from your browser.
- Skip the forms entirely and call or visit instead. Everything on this site can be handled at the counter.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us something, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Photos attached to a freight quote are shrunk in your browser before they are sent, and form submissions go straight to our inbox rather than being stored on the site. We take reasonable care with what you send, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
